5 more days...

I can hardly believe it. My little girl. ONE!! How crazy! She's calling everything fluffy "Teddy" which is adorable. She hangs teddy outside of her crib, and then looks at him like, "Okay, you can stay in the crib this time, but don't think I'll be so nice next time!!"
I am going insane though, I have no clue where she got it, but she's throwing temper tantrums. She doesn't hang out with other kids, she doesn't watch tv, but she grunts stomps her feet and gives mean looks. I have no clue how to make sure she doesn't "learn" more of this behavior, since I don't know where she picked it up at!
She can't walk, but she can jump, she loves to do this. OH!! She does "This little piggy" on her own! She'll be laying in her play pen/crib and just start muttering while she's wiggling her toes. When she gets to the pinky toe she shivers and shakes like someone's tickling her. It's very adorable.
We've been teaching her to say "Excuse me" if she passes gas, and today, while Amma was watching her, she let out a huge burp, then said "Zcuszz" (suzz-zah) We figured she was trying to say excuse me. Especially since she thinks using manners is the coolest thing ever and just giggles.
She loves, especially when she's being fed, to put her forehead to ours. Making very serious faces while her head is there. It's so cute. She loves Elmo (of course!), anything fluffy, and eating paper. If anyone has any suggestions on how to stop the paper eating/shredding, please let me know. I'm going nutso with it.

Anyways, this is just a small update on how we're doing in the days leading up to the big day! Mom and Amma are crying lots,
it's amazing what happens in a year.

ER scare!!

Well, Zoe gave Mommy and Amma a scare yesterday. I got to work and I get a phone call saying that Zoe's going to the ER, she got into some pills (which IDK how, they were wayyy out of her reach). Well after being there for 7 hours, getting charcoal and lots of bloodwork, she's doing fine! They happened to catch a UTI while we were there, so I guess all wasn't lost!

She's sleeping now, with Amma. I'm trying to tidy up our room. I never could believe how scary that would be. My poor pumpkin is all dotted where they tried to get blood and put an IV line in.

18 more days!!

Everyone, Zoe has two and a half more weeks until the big day! I can't believe she'll be a year old. She's huge! She's starting to act like a little girl, talk like a little girl, laugh like a little girl. I can't believe it, I just won't! She's taken a few steps today! A couple forward and one back. She just gets so excited when she does it, she starts to go fast and clap and all is lost! It's adorable. She loves to wake me up by kissing me and hugging me. Sometimes she'll push the hair out of my face and then hug me and kiss me. She's going to be little miss thang. I can't wait to get all the invites out. More to come soon!
